Journeys. Heb 11:32-34

"And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies." Hebrews 11:32-34/NIV

The Biblical characters mentioned have all taken part in faith journeys. These journeys or acts of faith helped each individual follower of Jesus grow on great levels. Some would say these biblical characters were heroes and that they were people who would be willing to lay down their lives in order to follow God and stand firm in their faith.

We have an opportunity in the present day to follow Jesus the same way these biblical characters all did. God has called each of us to be heroes, to act in faith, and help others.

Do not believe the lie of Satan when he attempts to fill your mind and heart with doubt. Do not believe for a second that you can't be used by God to help others or advance His kingdom. No matter what you're called to do, continue to act in faith and trust that God can and will use you in mighty ways!
